Small Classes
Each class consists of no more than 7 students per class. The reason is to give each child more one-on-one time with their friends and the teacher. The smaller the group, the more everyone gets to know each other better.

Developmentally Age Appropriate
All curriculum and lessons are developmentally appropriate for young children ages 3-5 years old. Mid-year assessments will be provided to parents during our parent/teacher conferences so they may see where their child is at to prepare them for kindergarten. To learn about our curriculum click here.

Tuition & Fees
One time enrollment fee at beginning of school year and monthly flat rate tuition payment:

-
Enrollment Fee: $120 (*one time fee to hold your child's spot in class and to purchase general school supplies)
-
Monthly Tuition: $240 (flat rate)
-
No other fees!

Special Days & Parties

-
Thanksgiving & Jesus' Birthday Christmas party
-
Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, & Easter party
-
PJ party & End of the Year party

Supplies & Materials
All supplies, materials, and curriculum for the school year are provided at no extra cost! Once enrolled, your child will receive all their general supplies and materials to keep and use at school. To view supply list of materials your child will be using throughout the school year click here.

Newsletter & Calendar
Every month parents will receive a newsletter and calendar to take home (*example above is of an online preschool version). The newsletter will cover the science unit, color, letter, number, and Bible verse of the month. The calendar will inform parents of what specific topis will be covered each day and any special events/holidays.

Special Program
Our Graduation Ceremony program will be held during the end of the school year. See the little ones sing, dance, recite poems and Bible verses with the entire class! This will be a special time to invite immediate and extended family to see all of what the children have learned that school year and to see them graduate to the next grade level.
Class Pet
Furby the cat likes to be around people - infants, children, and adults. She is gentle, playful, enjoys her naps as every cat does, and removes herself from the space when she needs her alone time. We consider her our "class pet" where the children will learn to gently pet her, when to give her the space she needs, and how to wash their hands after petting any animal. Furby is spade and up to date on all her vaccinations/shots.

Basic Life Skills / Social Skills
Our students learn basic life skills and have many opportunities to socialize with other children and their teacher. Some examples are learning to taking turns, communicating ideas, answering questions, and listening to others. How to raise their hand to wait for the teacher to call their name to speak (at the appropriate times). Wash their hands after they blow their nose and after going potty. To stand in a line as they wait, and more!

Field Trips & Special Guests
Our school is a 9 min. walk from Bluebelle Park (picture shown above). This is a family oriented park located in the midst of a neighborhood. We will have opportunities to visit this park on/off throughout the school year (parents will be informed of this ahead of time). There may be special guests who visit our school based off of the science unit of the month.
Bible, Prayer, & Worship
Bible stories, a simple Bible verse to memorize each month, daily prayers, and fun worship songs to praise God with are just a few ways we build our relationship with God. We learn about God by praying to Him, singing songs to Him, doing interactive Bible stories, and more!
Circle Time
This is the time where we pray together and go over the calendar, weather, and topic of the day. Whether it is the shape of the month, how God created plants on day three, the letter of the week, or learning about the stars up in space, it all will be introduced in an intriguing way to captivate their attention in the form of puppetry, songs, silly movements, or something else.
Free Play
During free play children develop a wide range of skills, including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical ones. They learn to make friends, negotiate, and solve problems. Free play also fosters creativity, imagination, and language development. The developmental milestones that children are experiencing during this special time are endless!

Activity Time
Painting, coloring, stamping, gluing, and cutting are a few of many ways we will get to express our creative side. This art project or worksheet will be related to the topic of the day that was taught during circle time. We always try our best to do an activity that is fun and engaging for the children to expand their learning on the topic they were taught earlier that class period.

Music Time
Fingerplays, silly songs, and worship songs are a few ways we get to use our voices to sing and move our bodies. Children at this age need to move in order to stay on task, therefore it is no secret that music and movement are embedded into our class sessions. Jump, run, stretch, crawl, twirl, and snap! Our class is full of constant daily movement to keep our little ones engaged and to exercise our small and large motor skills. Body movement is weaved into all we do and is a must!

Snack Time
A snack is provided every class time. We follow the USDA Nutrition Standards making our snacks. The children will be provided a snack as they sit eating together conversing with one another. A snack menu will be displayed on our information board located at the entrance of our facility. If your child is allergic to anything we serve, we are more than welcome to serve your child an alternative snack you provide for them.

Book Time
This is a transitional time between snack and center time. However, it's a very useful because it is where children can relax in the book area of our classroom and look at books by themselves or together with a friend. This space has cozy large stuffed animals for the children to snuggle up to while they point at pictures and converse with friends about what they are looking at and more.
Center Time
Center time is focused on three academic areas separated into three "centers" or groups. We usually involve one center with science sensory play (playdoh, water table, etc.), the second with math manipulatives (puzzles, counters, etc.), and the third creative thinking (blocks, magnets, etc.) or writing/literacy (tracing, letter find, etc.).
Recess Time
Playing outside as a child is a must! Our recess time develops the children's gross motor skills (large muscles), creative exploration, and encourages to play with friends. Our playground is fully fenced in, locked, and very private. We have multiple play structures, a sandbox, and variety of outside toys for the children to play with to keep them busy playing. In case you didn't know, playing is actually learning!
Science & Sensory Play
Science in our class is incorporated into simple diagrams, educational books, puppets, dressing our weather bear, developmentally appropriate science experiments, sensory play during our center time, and having a science area in our classroom.

One-On-One Assessments
Assessing our students one-on-one is a must to see where they are at academically. We gather our assessment information for each student by:
-
Observing each student during every class session.
-
Providing hands-on and worksheet based activities.
-
Setting up a one-one-one assessment time with the student in December to gather the final information.

Parent / Teacher Conferences
In January we have parent/teacher conferences where we meet with each parent one-on-one to discuss their child's assessment. The assessment covers where their child is at developmentally and academically in order to see if they are on the right track for kindergarten.

Movie Time
We know most children this day in age have screen time at home, therefore, we try to not have it at all or limit it to no more than 15 min. per class day. If we turn on the screen it will be an educational video based off of our topic of the day, a visual read-to-me book, a dancing video we follow on the screen to get our wiggles out, or a mini movie as a special party day treat.
