We acknowledge and support working families by providing child care during preschool (Tue., Wed., Thur.) and non-school (Mon. & Fri.) days at the low cost of $3.50 an hour. We offer a summer child care program too!

Our child care program is very different than our preschool program in the sense that it is fully play-based and not as structured as a typical preschool program's educational time. It is designed to provide a fun, safe, calm, and loving space to play with their friends while they wait for their families to pick them up.

Children must be enrolled in our preschool program in order to receive child care.

*this rule does not apply to our summer child care program.

Little Fish Preschool tuition and fees

Tuition & Fees

During the school year there is no child care enrollment fee for children already enrolled in our preschool program. However, our summer child care program has an enrollment fee of $40 to cover any summer-related general supplies/materials.

The cost of our monthly child care tuition depends solely what days and times you need. Please see next section for more details on how we bill our monthly child care.

Little Fish Preschool snack time

Lunch Time

Snacks and milk during lunch are provided for the children. Parents/guardians must send their child with a packed cold lunch every day. We follow the USDA Food and Nutrition Service guidelines to ensure healthy snack and meals. If your child is allergic to anything we serve, we are more than welcome to serve your child an alternative snack you provide for them.

Child Resting Thoughtfully

Nap Time

Children have a set nap time or rest period during child care hours. Nap time may involve sleeping, quiet wakefulness, or an alternative quiet activities. Children must lay down on their cot or mat for at least 30 min. during nap time. If a child is still awake after 30 min. they may be given a quiet activity (i.e. book, puzzle).

Children Playing Toys

More Play

There's nothing wrong with more play time! This is how young children learn and develop a wide range of skills. Our child care is play-based children have more opportunity to expand on their learning in more open-ended creative ways. The developmental milestones that children are experiencing during this time is endless!

Child-Led Activities

Majority of our arts, crafts, and other activities during child care hours are child-led. We provide the supplies and materials like paint, glue, crayons, and more for children to create. At times the teacher may provide a teacher-led activity based off of what they're learning in preschool. There will be a mix of both teacher/child-led during our summer program based off of summer topic themes.
